ACTIVITIES
Tom Donahue's ability to establish and
grow organizations and departments is the theme that unifies his career
in both education and business. He thinks and acts as an entrepreneur whether
he is working as a CEO, corporate manager of instruction, college vice
president, superintendent of schools, principal, counselor or teacher.
Supported by skills in strategic planning, leadership, facilitation, consulting,
and educational technology, he:

founded and lead a successful educational
technology company;

established a new corporate training department
(a corporate university) in a software company;

created a successful computer training
company for employees of Fortune 100 companies;

rebuilt an international
school's legal charter, curriculum, campus, and financial base;

established the first counseling program
in a German public school - a new concept
in German education;

helped found the Residential
College at the University of Michigan as a Resident Director of Prescott
House;

first resident director of Lee House, a
new
graduate dorm at the University of Michigan;

started a music department in a new high
school, and established a band and choir;

restructured and resurrected the student
services division of a
college;

published cutting edge training materials
on the Internet, CD-ROM, laserdisc, for corporations, publishers, and colleges;

worked in leadership capacities in Europe,
Asia, and the Middle East. Speaks fluent German, some Chinese and a little
Dutch.
